Nubuk & Suède The velvet nubuk and suède calf leathers and goatskins need special treatment. Heavily soiled shoes may be cleaned with a fine brush and a natural rubber brush which also remove stripes and greasy spots. Do not use wax to waterproof or to freshen up the colour as the fine hair of the nubuk would stick together. Rather take a suède/nubuk leather spray or a nuturing emulsion.
